The tree of life is a universal symbol which you might have seen everywhere. This is because it is not unique to one religion or culture and most trees being represented on jewelry or decorations is usually a tree of life. All it takes is a sprouting tree with many branches and occasionally some colourful leaves. It has been considered a sacred symbol for centuries in religious, spiritual and philosophical communities.

It symbolizes connection and unity. The many branches are spread outward everywhere and reach very high, while the roots run very deep into the ground. This is to show the interconnection of every element in the universe, as it absorbs energy from the Earth as well as the moon and sun.

The tree itself is a representation of family (as in, a family tree). This being said, it promotes fertility and preservation of ancestral aspects.

The tree of life is the strongest and tallest tree in the universe, never to be torn down. It should transfer growth and strength to anyone who bares the tree on themselves or in their homes.

Other properties that can be attributed to the tree of life include individuality, peace, immortality and rebirth.
